Girls Hockey Takeover: A Playmaker Experience

Where: Flight Adventure Park, Irmo, SC
Girls Hockey Takeover is a Playmaker fundraiser built to get girls excited about hockey in a fun, welcoming, no-pressure environment.
Expect high-energy stations, great coaching, and tons of puck touches alongside other girls who love the game. The experience is capped off by being part of the USC women’s hockey game-day atmosphere. The event is led primarily by female coaches and players from the Carolina Women’s Club Hockey Team.
All proceeds support Playmaker’s mission to grow hockey and expand access to the game in our community.

Girls born in 2016, 2017, 2018, or 2019
Participation requirements
To participate, families must:
- Complete this registration form
- Complete Flight Adventure Park’s online waiver
- Pay in full ($40)

Meet and Greet and Autographs with the Carolina Women’s Club Hockey Team
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Girls Hockey Takeover Ice Event
All-star style NHL entrance for every girl, skill stations, and scrimmages
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Carolina Women’s Club Hockey Team vs UNC
Girl participants are free. Adult tickets are $5
About the fundraiser
This is a fundraiser for Playmaker Sports DEK, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Playmaker’s mission is to build an outdoor DEK hockey facility in the Midlands to make hockey more affordable and accessible for all ages in our community.
